Messy Art Lab Program

At Messy Art Lab, we follow the Reggio Emilia approach to create a dynamic, child-centered environment that nurtures creativity, curiosity, and artistic expression. Our process-oriented and open-ended art projects are key to building self-esteem and fostering creativity in all areas of life.

Program Goals:

  1. Nurture Expressive Creativity – We provide a variety of art materials and techniques, encouraging children to explore, express their thoughts and feelings, and develop confidence in their artistic abilities.

  2. Cultivate Inquisitive Exploration – Our open-ended projects inspire curiosity and hands-on learning as children investigate different materials, textures, colors, and techniques.

  3. Encourage Collaborative Learning – Through group projects and discussions, children learn teamwork, communication skills, and the value of respecting diverse perspectives while creating art.

Class Flow

We will adapt the activities and set-up depending on the group's needs and ages. The project may be set up as one activity to work on during the entire class, or as a station along with other sensory stations.
