Party Instructor Party Assistant
Our company is seeking a friendly and hard-working individual to help us throw the best parties.
You should be someone who enjoys working with children and their parents, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is flexible, outgoing and has great problem solving and multitasking skills.
Shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays, anytime between 8:30am and 7:00pm.

Responsibilities
-
Lead/assist in-studio and mobile events and parties.
-
Interact empathically, positively, and enthusiastically with children and their parents while maintaining control of the class and providing an inclusive environment.

Responsible for preparing, setting up, and cleaning the studio before and after parties and events.

Encourage students to enjoy the experience of creating and the magic of process art, while honoring the competence and independence of children.

Communicate with parents with a positive and professional attitude.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Fun, outgoing and friendly personality!
-
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant, school, or care center.

Be vaccinated against COVID-19 and be willing to wear a mask at work when indoors.

Be able to lift, pour, and carry supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a semi-regular basis.

Be willing to work both on-site and off-site.

JOB SCHEDULE:
We are looking to hire stable and on-call staff for both Saturday and Sunday.
For stable staff, this role would have the expectation that you work every weekend, unless we have no bookings. If we have no bookings, you would have the choice of having the day/weekend off, or coming into the studio to clean, organize, and prep for upcoming events.

Cleaning & Mainenance responsibilities
Part or Full-Time
-
All general cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, restrooms, washing art supplies, taking out the trash, etc.

Overall maintenance of the studio, keeping it clean, organized, and working.

Assist with set up before studio classes, clean up after classes, and help teachers clean up in between classes.

General organization tasks, such as returning art supplies to their designated location, sorting materials, checking inventory.

Preparing materials for upcoming classes and events, such as making playdoh, mixing paint,

Preparing and packing for mobile events.
-
General inventory to ensure materials are available and in stock for teachers so camps and classes run smoothly.
We are open to hiring part or full-time. The minimum is 16 hours a week, maximum 40 hours a week. This job is on-site at our studios in the Inner Sunset neighborhood in San Francisco.
