Our company is seeking an outgoing and friendly individual to fill our Art Teacher and Art Teacher Assistant positions.

 

You should be someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has great problem solving and multitasking skills. We are open to hiring either part-time or full-time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some experience working with children ages 1-10 years old in any setting (daycare, internship, classroom, babysitting)

  • Be willing to take feedback and committed to learning and growing. 

​

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand or be physically active for the duration of the work shift.

  • Able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 lbs.

  • Able to kneel or bend down.

 

 

Preferred, not required

  • Teaching experience in a Reggio-inspired environment or process-based environment

Always

  • Lead (or assist) in-studio and mobile classes, art camps, and events 

  • Interact empathically, positively, and enthusiastically with children while maintaining control of the class and providing an inclusive environment

  • Prepare, set up, and clean the studio before, after, and between classes

  • Encourage students to enjoy the experience of creating and the magic of process art, while honoring the competence and independence of children

  • Communicate with parents with a positive and professional attitude

  • Document the experience in classes to be shared with parents

  • Create and organize new curriculum and experiences in order to deliver programming on-site, off-site

  • Provide high-quality customer service and deliver outstanding service to every guest who comes through our doors

  • Consistently promote a positive team environment and seek to establish and maintain open communication among the team

  • Help maintain an overall clean, safe, and professional-looking environment

  • Complete tasks in a proactive, timely, and efficient manner with little or no supervision

  • Have a growth mindset, and be open to sharing new ideas and brainstorm 

  • Be curious, a self-starter, flexible, think critically, and committed to learning and growing

We are open to hiring full-time or part-time. This job is on-site at our studios and off-site for mobile programs.

Shift hours are M-S, anywhere between 8:30am-9:30pm for our different programs throughout the year.

​
