Distance learning support and Creative Arts

full-day program for K to 5th grade.

Starting March 15th

Given that most schools are still only doing distance learning and we recognize the challenges associated with homeschooling, especially for working parents. We are offering an in-person Monday through Friday Creative Arts full-day program for the remainder of the 2021 academic year with operating hours of 8:30 am to 4:30.
We will dedicate the morning and early afternoon to distance learning and schoolwork support, including assisting children with their Zoom sessions and school assignments, and we will have our creative arts programming in the late afternoon.
(families need to provide a tablet or device for Zoom meetings, headphones, and detailed printed out schedules, instructions and passwords).

Here is our daily schedule that will adjust with each child's individual schedule:

8:30 am - 12:00 pm -Distance learning support- with individual snack and brain breaks as needed
12:00 pm- 1:30 pm - Lunch and recess at our private garden and local neighborhood garden
1:30 pm - 2:45 pm - Distance learning support / Supervised indoor creative free time
2:45 pm - 3:30 pm - Afternoon break & snack
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm Arts and Mindfulness.

Our daily afternoon activities will focus on the process of creating art with paint, clay, nature, water colors, etc. We will also do fun projects where we make slime, potions, and more.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
We have been offering in-person programming  since the Fall of 2020 and have been following the latest recommendations from the Health Officer of the City of San Francisco and the CDC such as:
  • Disinfecting high-touch surfaces several times a day, before, during, and after program hours
  • To increase ventilation we keep windows and back doors open at all times.
  • We have installed several air purifiers using HEPA filters in every area of the studio.
  • Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.
  • Hand sanitizer and extra masks are provided
  • Offer ample opportunity for outdoor activities
  • All students and staff members are screened everyday with a no-touch thermometer before entering the program
  • Children need to wear a face covering at all times, except for meal times, which happen outdoors (weather permitting).

We ask of all families and staff members to:
  • Limit your exposure to COVID-19 by following social distancing protocols at all times.
  • Do not bring your child(ren) to the studio if they've had any symptoms of illness, or had contact with someone suspected to have COVID-19, or with a confirmed case of COVID-19
  • Wear a face covering when dropping off and picking up your child(ren) outside of the studio.

Our community is very careful and conscientious of the shared responsibility of following the recommended precautions and maintaining a healthy pod. As an FYI, here is a quick guide to the steps and procedures for when someone has suspected or confirmed COVID-19.

Our program follows the SFUSD calendar, closing on holidays, Spring break, Summer break, and Winter break. Our Winter/Spring 2021 program runs through June.

Monthly tuition is $2000/month and includes two daily healthy snack and all materials used in the program. Lunch is not included. Siblings will receive a 10% discount on tuition.
